Another Great Contract Begins

In June we began another fantastic job in in Surrey. It’s part of our client’s plan to build homes offering care to those suffering with Alzheimers. The first of several jobs and this one covered 6,000m. We certainly had the weather to make a great start.

We’re Low Emission Zone friendly

Our newest Massenza MI5 Rig, is fitted with the latest Euro 6 engine. This reduces carbon monoxide, particulate matter (PM or soot), sulphur dioxide and hydrocarbon. 

And compared with the Euro 5 engine the Euro 6 decreases nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions by over 55%. It’s reduced CO2 emissions make it compliant with any low emission areas in the UK such as London’s planned Ultra-Low Emission Zone.

Our Latest HS2 Project

We were award another HS2 project this week. This time we’re drilling 40x12m 150mm piles for what will be this impressive looking canopy at Euston station. 

On the job will be one of our new MI5 Massenza drilling rigs with a low-emission engine, which meets HS2’s standards to minimise the environmental impact of the project.

Our part of the project will start in the first week of June.
